Mtiro Adam Twaha is the founder of Ongoza African Safaris, born and in love with Tanzania's beauty and the hospitality of the people after spending all his life exploring the country. It was his dream to create an incredible safari company so that other people can experience the beauty of Tanzania. Adam and his partner Magda Vrijs, who lived in Tanzania for over 16 years, have extensive knowledge of all the wonderful experiences Tanzania has to offer which they will use to guide (‘Ongoza’ is the Swahili word for guiding) you to your dream safari.
Together, they make a great partnership. Not only do they have deep knowledge and experience of the country, they are a reliable management team that has been working well together for many years. They are personable, will make you feel at home, and always tailor the trip to your desires. Adam, Magda, and their team, are professional guides who are passionate about showing you the beauty of Tanzania.
